Fallen Angel

<Edit> Changed the background to purple instead of orange, I like it much better this way. ^^ I just still really hate the curtains...

I don't know what I'm doing wrong when drawing with colored pencils but I cannot seem to figure out how to blend shit. I also feel like I'm getting worse at this. And I still randomly draw crappy backgrounds as fast as possible just so I can say my picture is finished. Oh god why.
I should probably just draw black white drawings, at least I know how to work with graphite properly gfhdfgdsdgdg. Or I should try digital art. Maybe I can do that.
